I started my first overnight shift at the VA. I didn’t see any spooks and I didn’t have to go down to the morgue. Phew. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. The time didn’t go too, too slow. The only time it really does go by slow is when you want to leave and that’s at the last hour! Heh. I have to do this for the rest of the week and even the weekend. OH JOY! This is really going to mess up my sleep pattern.

My ma is in town. I’m so glad. She’s been giving me food left and right. I love her cooking. She’s the best. The other day she invited us over to eat. I was sitting there minding my own business eating my food and my brother’s girlfriend comes in the door. She didn’t say anything to anyone and she comes over to me, interrupting my meal and says, ” Cynthia, you don’t know how to take off your shoes? ” I said, ” WHAT?! ” She said, ” Ya timbs, leave ya timbs at the door! ” I looked at her, looked away and continued to eat. I said to my ma, ” This is the reason why I don’t like coming here. ” I finished my food and left the house. An hour or so later she text me, ” Can I talk to you for a second? ” I ignored it. She called a couple hours later, ignored it. Then she sent me a message on facebook:

” Sooooo ..was wondering did you ever get my txt or my miss call? I was acting like a spoiled rude brat!!! Ik .. ik I’m to blunt for my own good. Worst part is it had nothing to do wit shoes. ”

Lol …only if you knew what I gone through b4 I got home..dumb ..customers with NO Common sense ..I was in a yelling match with this idiot guy who wud not leave me alone so I had him thrown out! Sorry btw…that’s why I was calling …tha boot thing was so minor & it tringered sum anger :/ sooooo …yeah that’s what I wantd to say! Thanks ”

She’s taking out her anger on me. I think that’s foul, but everyone knows she can throw heavy mood swings. It’s inexcusable, but that’s her person. I guess. LMAO.

I work w/ a guy, lets call him Bill. Bill was saying that his wife does not get jealous. Then our co worker, lets call her Marla says, ” I would will all your girl friends that you have! ” He said, ” Ok, the only time she got jealous is when one of my friends who is a girl wanted to hang out, I told her to come over so her, my wife & I could hang out. When my friend came my wife didnt wanna hang out, so I took my friend & son out for a ride to the beach. ” His wife got pissed. I would too if my man wanted to hang out w/ his girl friend instead of me. I would be heated! All need this guy is on his phone talking/texting. I know guys from his culture like to play around. I really dont think he’s faithful…I dont see that in him. Blahhhh. Guys like that make me sick!

I will be orienting on this shift this week. Well, today, tomorrow and Wednesday. I’m off for the holiday on Thursday and Friday we have computer training, after computer training we report back to our ward until 4p. I’m off again this weekend! Which is good, b/c we have to go for our fitting on Sunday ( My cousin is getting married in May ). I really don’t want to. I look at myself everyday in the mirror and see how much weight I have gained. It’s disgusting. That’s why I’m going to do something about it. Friday, November 28th I am going to start my diet and also my diet blog. The address for the blog is transform. It’s going to be members only b/c I will be posting videos, my weight, maybe my measurements if I can find some measuring tape. I’m gonig to make a twitter account that I will be crossposting w/ the site to tweet about what I’ve just eaten and what not. Who knows, maybe this will be an enjoyable moment for me. I’m thinking of doing a video at least once a week. Maybe weigh in day. If any of you would like to join me in this journey, DO IT! Create a blog, utterli, something and post it online!

My ma is coming this Thursday. I can’t wait! I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen her. I think it was in June when we went to their place. She’ll be staying for two weeks, I believe. Kind of sucks b/c I’ll be working the night shift while she’s here, but then the last week she’s gonna be here I’ll be back orienting on days. It’s weird how the nurse manager worked everything out. I still have to figure out what days I want to take off when my sister is here. I hope she can have me working some days when they’re here. It would be nice so I wouldn’t have to take a whole bunch of days off!

Steve’s car had to be jump started yesterday. We just got that car like 6 months ago. I knew this car was going to give him some problems. So far his headlights blew 3 times already!! That’s ridiculous. I know it’s a used car, but it shouldn’t have all these problems. He wants to try to trade it in for a Fit. I don’t know how the whole trading in car when it’s not paid in full thing works.

This blog is all over the place. I just wanted to blog about a few things before I head off to work!
